FREDERICKSBURG CLINIC
Mark Rau MSPT, ATC – Director of Clinics
Mark graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Exercise Science in 1992. He became a Certified Athletic Trainer and worked in the high school and clinical settings for 7 years before receiving a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 1999. Mark opened the Fredericksburg office of LSPT in 2003 and the Stafford location in December 2013. Mark's interest are orthopedic injuries using hands-on manual techniques with strong emphasis in exercise. Mark is a proud father of 4, an avid runner/cyclist/triathlete and is passionate about helping patients attain their functional goals. He continues to work as an Athletic Trainer in the middle/high school settings.
 
STAFFORD CLINIC
Taylor McKinney PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Taylor comes to Liberty Sports and PT after working for several years in Fredericksburg. He attended Carson-Newman University and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. He then graduated from East Carolina University where he completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Taylor enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions with particular focus on sports related injuries, and has gotten to work with athletes of all ages from Middle School to professional athletes including spending time with pre/post-season testing with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes and producing research related to upper and lower extremity baseball pitching mechanics. Taylor has completed an advanced certification with the McKenzie Institute of America for Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment which focuses on patient centered care to help speed up recovery from back and neck disorders. In his spare time Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies, reading, and playing sports.
 
 
Erika Frick, PT, OCS
Erika was born and raised in New England. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College, Hamden, CT in 1999. She has worked primarily in outpatient orthopaedics physical therapy since graduating. Her interest in orthopaedics led her tobecome certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She enjoys helping her patients reach their full potential in high level athletics or mastering necessary activities of daily living. Erika enjoys road biking, running and most other outdoor activities.
 
Stacey Sykes MPT, Cert. MDT
Stacey graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science in 1994 and went on to Northern Arizona University to complete her Master's in Physical Therapy. In her 17 years of practice she has worked in various settings and has had extensive post graduate training in orthopedics. Over the last 8 years she has become more interested in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), an approach to diagnosing orthopedic problems by assessing the mechanics of joints and their responses to repeated movements. In May 2013, she became a certified MDT therapist. Stacey is TRX level 1 suspension training certified. Stacey joined LSPT in 2013 in our new Stafford office. She became interested in physical therapy while watching her grandmother rehabilitate after a devastating stroke. She is a proud soccer mom, and stays active raising her three young boys with her husband.

Keri Wagner PT, DPT
Keri graduated with a Associates in Health Science from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee with a minor in Psychology. She completed her Bachelors in HS and then graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Andrews University in Michigan. Keri joined LSPT in Stafford in 2013. Keri is Functional Capicity Evaluation (FCE) trained through Occupro. She is TRX level 1 suspension training certified. She is passionate about outpatient physical therapy and uses manual therapy techniques in combination with exercise to help her patients improve their function. She especially enjoys treating orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. Keri plans on pursing her CSCS and OCS. Her interest in physical therapy grew after injuries from gymnastics and soccer. She now enjoys competing in triathlons and ½ marathons. She loves mountain biking, camping and spending time with her husband and two boys.
